Ministry and Ordination
Ministry and Ordination Defined
Ministry in its purest form is servant hood. It is the work of the Lord as performed through His redeemed agents to do the works of Christ on this earth. According to Matthew 20:26,27:...but “Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. “
The work of the Lord in ministry is manifest in the office of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher, as well as through Missionaries, Counselors, etc. The Word of the Lord tells us to “GO into All the world and preach Good News” - therefore ministry may also be seen and performed in the work of helps, i.e. distributing tracts, witnessing, intercessory prayer, etc.
We recognize that all true ordination comes from God. The call of God, the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the testimony of Jesus Christ must be evidenced in the candidate’s life. Our place and position as established ordained ministers of God is to publicly endorse what God has ordained in the life and ministry of the candidate.
We desire to serve as the hand and the voice of the Lord to help those who aspire to do the work of the Lord in Christian ministry. We welcome inquiries from ministers who are interested in transferring their license or ordination to our oversight.
It is the sincere desire of this ministry to build lasting relationships that will ultimately establish Kingdom truth.
Types of Certificates - Certificate of Exhorter
This candidate would be a Christian who desires to sincerely pursue Bible study and ministry. Their ministerial experience may have been limited and/or they may have had little or no formal Christian education. This is the beginning stages of proving themselves for ministry according to 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Types of Certificates - Certificate of License
This candidate has an anointing and great potential to mature into a full-time Christian Minister. They should have served with an established five-fold Minister for a season and have a good report. This license recognizes the candidate as “Reverend”. The Certificate of License grants the Minister the authority to preach/teach the Full Gospel message, to perform marriages and all ministerial ordinances and duties pertaining to the church as set forth by the Word of God in accordance with the laws of the State and County/Parish where they reside. The candidate shall perform these ministerial privileges under the oversight of C.E.O. in accordance with the scripture in 2 Corinthians 1:24 “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.”
Types of Certificates - Certificate of Ordination
The candidate for a Certificate of Ordination has all the authority and privileges that are granted under the Certificate of License with this exception. The ministers with a Certificate of Ordination also have the authority to license and ordain other ministers under the guidelines of C.E.O.
